This three-week course introduces the fundamentals of telecommunications and Community-Centered Connectivity Initiatives (CCCIs) aimed at expanding affordable and reliable internet access in rural Africa. Participants will explore how the Internet works, key components of Community Networks, the basics of wireless technology, and essential steps to design and implement local networks. Combining technical concepts with real-world examples from across the continent, the course equips learners with foundational knowledge to support inclusive connectivity efforts.
